St. Augustine

Entering the harbor, you sail past the anchorage at Fort San Marco and then the town.

As soon as you pass the Bridge of Lions, the City Marina is on the right.

Facilities are great, but best of all, A1A Aleworks is just across the street.

Just beyond the marina is another anchorage.

We spent the day cleaning up Maribo (interrupted by several trips across the street to the Aleworks), and watching the other boats come and go.  Fred had to fly back to Annapolis the next day, so the next morning Theresa and I went back out in the Atlantic and headed for Ponce Inlet and points south.

As the sun set on Mosquito Lagoon, we anchored just off the channel and had an absoutely perfect night at anchor, with the lights from the space center lighting the sky to the south.
